Donation Information

PPCG Gardener Plot Fees are used for operational costs including water; however other donations are needed for capital improvements. You can contribute to PPCG in any of the following ways:

Financial support

Our financial plan builds in a certain amount of fundraising in addition to plot fees that cover the cost of infrastructure development and operational costs such as water.  To make a donation you can mail a check to:
Prospect Park Community Garden
131 Cecil Street SE
Minneapolis, MN 55414

Getting your hands dirty!

We’ve been amazed by our neighbors who have wandered through the garden or who are looking for ways to lend a hand.  If you have had the same impulse, send us an email to easily find out what’s needed.  Of course, let us know who you are so we can say thanks!

Tools, Equipment, Materials

We also welcome your material donations of items that are in working condition. You can email us with your offers. Please do not drop off donations without making prior arrangements. Here are some things we currently need:

Wheelbarrow – to leave on site
Shovels – to leave on site
Garden rakes – to leave on site
Gravel or gravelly fill dirt
Services

If you have a truck and would be willing to make occasional runs for equipment, mulch, etc., we’d love to put you on our call list.  Or maybe you have a tiller to loan or other specialized equipment that could come in handy from time to time?  Can you do a workshop on permaculture gardening, sharpening tools, canning or sustainable gardening?  There are many ways you can share your talents at the PPCG.
